Try something new… I rode a camel today. New experiences do more than broaden your horizons. They improve your outlook on life. Whether it’s travel to a different part of the world, a dance class, or a new food, new experiences give you confidence to try new things.

I have tried out all these techniques but don’t take my word for it – try it out yourself. Shit still happens. I still have to deal with problems and challenges and teenagers! But what have changed is my attitude and my stress levels. I have started having more patience. I don’t rush as much more. I see that things don’t upset me like they used to. I feel a greater sense of peace and calmness. I am finding myself being less reactive. So apply some of these tools as you experience your life. Perhaps you can begin to replace some of your habituated, reactive often negative response to life’s events with greater ease because of these techniques.
